Sustainability

EQPE's goal is to create products for the conscious customer with high quality, function, and a good fit, with a design that lasts over time and is reasonably priced. The collections are designed to last for at least a three-year cycle in order to not have to be discounted and create a more sustainable and long-term production. Suppliers are carefully selected based on high requirements for social responsibility, risk analysis, and EQPE's quality and chemical requirements. All suppliers must sign a compliance agreement that includes our code of conduct based on our values, the UN Convention on Human Rights, working conditions, the environment, and anti-corruption, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the OECD Guidelines for Business, and the ILO's eight conventions.

Sustainability and the environment are important aspects of the brand. We always choose recycled fibers in products where we find a good alternative that meets our quality and chemical requirements. In 2023, we will set goals including the percentage of recycled material to be used in our products. All of our textile products are PFC-free, phthalate-free, and PVC-free, and we actively choose not to work with antibacterial additives such as silver. All down products are made with sustainably produced and certified down, and we never use fur in our products.
